Telemedicine
Telemedicine is a digital health solution that connects the patient and clinician through real-time audio and video technology. This allows the patient and their clinician to see and hear each other through a smartphone, tablet, or computer. Telemedicine can be used as an alternative to traditional in-person care delivery.
All HUGHP plans include a telemedicine benefit for both medical and mental health visits. There are a few different ways that a member can access this care, as descripbed below.
BCBSMA network
The provider is contracted with BCBSMA and chooses to provide telehealth services.
Your primary care physician may also offer video visits.
