$300 Combined Wellness Reimbursement Benefit
Fitness | Weight Loss | Mind and Body
The current separate fitness and weight loss reimbursements ($150 each) available to HUGHP members have been combined into a single, flexible $300 Wellness Reimbursement, effective July 1, 2025. This combined benefit can be used for fitness and weight loss expenses, as well as a broader range of wellness products and services, including expenses related to massage therapy, hypnosis therapy, online therapy subscriptions (BetterHelp, TalkSpace, etc.), and more.
- If you submitted a 2025 fitness or weight loss reimbursement claim prior to July 1, you may still submit another reimbursement for the remaining balance, up to the $300 annual maximum benefit.
- The $300 reimbursement applies to your entire plan and can be used by any one member or shared among multiple members covered under the same plan. However, the total reimbursement available is $300, regardless of the number of members enrolled.
- All reimbursement requests for the calendar year must be submitted by March 31 of the following year.
- Starting July 1 through the end of the year, claims cannot be submitted online – you must use the Wellness Benefit Reimbursement form to submit expenses for reimbursement.
