You may need to pay for services up front and file for reimbursement later. You should obtain itemized receipts and medical records (when applicable) for any care you receive.

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts can help you find a health care provider. They are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by calling 800-810-BLUE or 804-673-1177 (collect if outside the U.S.). When you call, please remember to have your ID card ready. When traveling within the United States, be sure to let the representative know that you are looking for health care providers that participate with the local Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan. You may also search for providers online using the Blue Finder.

Evacuation and Repatriation
Harvard University Group Health Plan does not cover evacuation or repatriation; however, the University offers worldwide emergency medical referrals and advice and security evacuation services through Harvard Travel Assist.
