Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services

The Harvard University Group Health Plan (HUGHP) behavioral health benefit for mental health and substance abuse services is managed by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts (BCBMA).  You may find a provider in the following ways:

Call the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts (BCBSMA) Managed Care Behavioral Health Network at 877-566-2583. The representatives answering this line are trained to help you find the right provider for you based on your concerns and the location where you wish to receive care. They also understand your benefit coverage and work with your behavioral health provider to make sure that your treatment plans are authorized and you receive the benefit for which you are eligible.

NOTE: Mental Health Services at HUHS does not treat HUGHP patients, however some HUHS mental health providers have private pratices that accept HUGHP members.
